Whether you visit us in person or just online, we extend a warm welcome to all, and want to help you feel at home with us, to help you feel the presence of God at St Martin’s and enable you to make a difference in the world.
Our ministry team is led by the Revd. Bob Peck.
Our vicar, Bob Peck is retiring in February 2019 and we will be going through the Church of England processes to appoint a new vicar. Please pray for out church and its leaders (and especially for Bob and Jenny as they leave us). Please pray that the right person for St Martin’s can be found.
Our Sunday services start at 10:30am. There is also a said Communion after the main service, whenever Communion is not included in this first service – this will be on the first and third Sundays in a month, plus the fifth Sunday, when appropriate. We look forward to welcoming you to our services at St Martin’s Church. More details of our services are shown under ‘What’s On’.
Tea, coffee and doughnuts are served in the church hall after the regular morning service; it’s a chance to meet people for a chat.
The prayer life of the church is very important to us, and we hold a number of prayer meetings at various times, for church members to attend, as listed in this website, under Forthcoming Event.
Our church building is used throughout the week, both for church events, and for other community users. Some of these are shown within the links to the left. We look forward to meeting you very soon.
The Hall may be available for outside hire on Saturday and Sunday afternoons and various evenings too. There is a large hall with a small kitchen, this is available for weekend afternoon and evening bookings. We charge £20/hour. A deposit may also be required. We also have a small room with access to a kettle, mugs and a sink for daytime and evening hire at £12/hour. A reduction applies for regular hirers.
Please contact the church office to enquire about hiring the facilities.
